10 Getting to know your phone

Navigating the menus

Select the option displayed by pressing the button underneath it.

For example, press the left-hand option button to select Menu and open the main menu, or press the right-hand option button to open the directory.

Your BT Freestyle 6100 has a menu system which is easy to use. Each menu leads to a list of options. Take a look at the menu map on the following page.

When the handset is in standby, press the option button under Menu to open the main menu.

Use the and buttons to scroll to the menu option you want. Then select OK for further options or confirm the setting displayed.

The option buttons and and buttons are also used when viewing the calls list and directory.

Exit or go back one level in the menu

To go to the previous level in the menu, select Back.

To cancel an operation and/or return to standby at any time, press .

If no button is pressed for 20 seconds the display will automatically return to standby.
