Using the directory

Entering names

To enter names, you use the letters on the keypad.

For example, press for the letter T, or three times for the letter O. See the character map below.

If the next character you want to enter is on the same button as the last, wait a moment for the cursor to move right.

Each successive button press displays the characters shown.

To change between UPPER and lower case

To change between upper and lower case, press the button.

The icon is displayed when upper case is selected. Characters will remain in upper or lower case until changed again.

Even if lower case is selected, the first letter of every word will be displayed as a capital letter.

To insert a space

Press to insert a space.

To delete characters

If you make a mistake, select Clear to delete characters.
