28Handset settings

The default ringer volume is 5.

At each volume setting, a one second ringtone sample is played, to demonstrate the volume level.

The default ringer melody is Melody 5.

A sample of each melody is played.

Handset ringer volume

The handset has 5 ringer volume settings from 1 (low) to 5 (high) and Off.

1.Select Menu, Set Handset is displayed. Press OK.

2.The displays shows Ring Volume. Select OK.

3.The current setting is displayed. Use and to change the level, then select OK. The display shows Saved.

4.Press to exit.

Handset ringer melody

The handset has 10 ringer melodies to choose from;

5 normal (settings 1–5) and 5 polytones (settings 6–10). You also can set a different melody for internal and external calls.

1.Select Menu, the display shows Set Handset. Select OK.

2.Scroll to Ring Melody and select OK.

3.Use or to choose Internal or External, then select OK. The current melody is displayed.

4.Scroll or to hear the choice of melodies available. When you have chosen one, select OK. The display shows Saved.

5.Press to exit.
