7. Press to exit and return to standby.

Keypad lock

You can lock the keypad so that it cannot be used accidentally while carrying it around.

To lock the keypad:

1.Press and hold for 3 seconds. The display shows the

symbol.

To unlock the keypad:

1.Press any key. The display shows Press *.

2.Press within 3 seconds to unlock the keypad.

Switch the torch on/off

To help you see in dark or poorly lit environments, you may find the torch a handy feature.

To switch on:

1.Press and hold Torch to switch the torch light on. The button can be found on the back of the handset.

You can also lock the keypad using the handset settings menu, see page 29.

IMPORTANT

If the keypad is locked you will NOT be able to dial the emergency numbers 999 and 112.

WARNING

Never look directly at the torch light, or shine it into the eyes as the light is very bright. Please keep the torch away from small children.
