charged, replace the battery with a new Panasonic N4HKGMA00001 (P-P511) battery. To order, call the accessories telephone number on page 2.

1	Press the notch on the
	handset cover ﬁrmly and

slide it as indicated by the arrow.

2	Remove the old battery.
2	Insert the new battery into
	the handset as shown,
	matching the correct polarity
	(#). Press the battery down
	until it places into the	1
	compartment ($).

3	Close the cover. Make sure you charge the new battery for about
3	15 hours in order to display the battery strength prompt correctly
	(p. 14).
