Line Mode (Cordless\Handset)

You can program the line mode using the cordless handset near the base unit. If the line is connected to a low voltage system such as a PBX, set to “B”. Otherwise the Call Waiting Caller ID Feature may not be used (p. 57). Your phone comes from the factory set to “A”.

Make sure the base unit and cordless handset are not being used.

Scroll to “Program” by pressing (›) or (‹).

Press (fl) (Yes key).

Scroll to “Set line mode” by pressing

(›)or (‹).

Press (fl) (Yes key).

Select “B” or “A” by pressing (›) or (‹).

Press (fl) (Save key).

A beep sounds.

To exit the programming mode, press (OFF).
