Useful Information

Error messages

If the unit detects a problem, one of the following messages is shown on the display.

Display message

Cause/solution

Already stored

L The phone number has already been stored.

Busy

L The called unit is in use.

 

L Other units are in use and the system is busy. Try again later.

Memory full

L The phonebook memory is full. Erase unnecessary entries (page

 

19).

 

L There is no space to store new entries in the individual call list.

No items stored

L Your phonebook is empty.

 

L The selected group does not have entries.

No link to base

L The handset has lost communication with the base unit. Move closer

 

to the base unit and try again.

 

L Unplug the base unit’s AC adaptor to reset the unit. Reconnect the

 

adaptor and try again.

 

L The handset’s registration may have been canceled. Re-register the

 

handset (page 33).

Register failed

L Move closer to the base unit, and try again.

Use rechargeable

L A wrong type of batteries such as Alkaline or Manganese was
