NOTE: In the Time-Out-Timer Penalty sub-menu, if “Off” is selected by pressing the MODE button, the TOT Penalty function will be disabled, and the radio will return to standby mode.

NOTE: If the radio transmits in excess of the set time, it will beep an error tone and the radio will receive a signal, but will NOT transmit during the penalty time.

NOTE: If the channel is set by Busy Channel Lockout, and transmit is inhibited, Marked Idle allows a transmission when your CTCSS or DCS tone signal is received.

Cambio del Canal

Gire la perilla de canales para seleccionar el canal (entre 16

ó32 canales). Su visualizador cambia con cada selección de canal, y varía dependiendo de la programación efectuada por el Distribuidor en cada descripción del canal.

Transmisión

Oprima la barra de P-T-T para transmitir; suelte para recibir. Ambos, TX (transmisión) y RX (recepción) están indicados por signos visuales. Cuando se gradúa y activa la opción VOX por la voz, la radio transmite; si se detiene la entrada de la voz, la radio mantiene TX por 2 segundos aproximadamente, a continuación retorna al modo receptor.

Batería Baja

Si el voltaje de la pila desciende por debajo de un nivel pre-

determinado, se muestra un mensaje de error por 2 segundos, junto con un signo centelleante de batería

vacía y un LED centelleante rojo.

Visualización de Opción de Canal

En el modo receptor, si se oprime el botón M (monitor) por más de 2 segundos, se visualiza la opción de tono RX y la opción de tono TX para cada canal seleccionado.
