You cannot make a call from the Caller ID list if your EXAI 985HS is connected to private branch exchange (PBX).

When a long distance call has been set, “1” appears in the display.

Calling a party from the Caller ID list

You can place a call from the Caller ID list.

The EXAI 985HS stores up to 50 messages.

want to dial by pressing

The displayed phone number will be dialed.

Long Distance calls and Area code

Pressing while the Caller ID information is displayed (in step 1) will place a “1” in the display to set up for a long distance call.

cursor to the left, make your

 

changes and then press

.

This will not change the number

in the Caller ID list memroy.

 

If you want to save this new number,

store the information in memory (see page 23).
