*Unit charge located on rating plate includes enough refrigerant for 16.5 feet of line set. *Charge adjustment is not required on line set lengths less than 16.5 feet.

*Capacity is based on standard line set lengths and maximum length is based on reliability.

Oil Traps:

It is not necessary to install oil traps when outdoor unit is located lower than indoor unit.

It is recommended that a trap be installed when outdoor unit is installed 16.5’ higher than indoor unit.
