7 If you have selected “CD” as the source in the above

step, select a disc number.

Press ¡/ ¢ or 4 / 1 to select the disc number (CD 1, CD 2, or CD 3), then press SET.

IMPORTANT: When selecting a disc number, make sure that a disc is already loaded on the selected disc number tray. If there is no disc on the tray, playback will not start.

If you have selected “FM” or “ AM” as the source in

the above step, select a preset station.

Press ¡/ ¢ or 4 / 1 to select a preset station, then press SET.

8 Press ¡ / ¢ or 4 / 1 to adjust the volume level, then press SET.

The DAILY (Daily Timer) indicator stops flashing and remains lit.

9 Press to turn off the unit (on standby) if you have set the timer with the unit turned on.

IMPORTANT: If you turn off the unit within 4 minutes before the timer on-time, Daily Timer playback will not start.

To turn on or off Daily Timer after its setting is done

1 Press CLOCK/TIMER repeatedly until “DAILY” appears in the main display.

* “AM 12:00” is the initial setting time at the factory.

2To turn off the Daily Timer, press CANCEL to select

“DAILY OFF.”

The (Timer) and DAILY (Daily Timer) indicators go off from the display.

The Daily Timer is canceled, but the setting for the Daily Timer remains in memory.

To turn on the Daily Timer, press SET.

The (Timer) and DAILY (Daily Timer) indicators light on the display. The settings you have done are

shown in the main display for your confirmation.

If the unit is kept turned on when the timer on-time comes

Daily Timer does not work at all.

If you change the source or press CLOCK/TIMER or SLEEP while Daily Timer playback is being performed

Daily Timer is canceled and the unit does not turn off automatically.

When you set Sleep Timer by pressing SLEEP, the unit turns off as you set by Sleep Timer.
