To select MIG welding process, pro- ceed as follows:
Follow safety precautions according to Section 1.
Prepare unit according to Section 3.
1Using a cable with a proper adapter, connect gun to the MIG gun connector.
Connect work clamp cable to the WORK connector on the power source.
2If using a
3Connect return coolant hose to red quick connect fitting.
Check coolant level after attaching torch coolant hoses and running cooler. Be sure coolant appears in upper half of indicator. Add coolant if necessary (see Power Source manual).
4If a remote control is desired, connect it to the Remote Control receptacle
Turn unit On.
Allow time for unit to complete its start up cycle.
Set MIG welding process on the Power Source and check L1, L2, L3 and L4 on the Wire Feeder.
Purge air from the gas hose using P3 pushbutton (see Section
