Post-Installation Procedures
After you install the router hardware, check all external connections, turn on the system power, allow the system to boot up, and minimally configure the system, you may need to perform additional configuration tasks.
The Cisco IOS software running your router contains extensive features and functionality. For information on Cisco IOS software and general installation and maintenance information for your router, use the following resources:
•For Cisco IOS software configuration information and support, refer to the modular configuration and modular command reference publications. You can also refer to the Cisco IOS software release notes for the version of Cisco IOS software you are using on your router.
