SECTION 3:

SETUP

3.1 KEYBOARD LOCK

If the keyboard is locked, the ‘lock’ key will be illuminated, and the LCD display will display:

L O C K E D

The keyboard can be unlocked with different user control levels. Pressing and holding the ‘lock’ key and entering the four digit unlock code will unlock the keyboard.

XXXXis the user level 1 unlock code. (Code not shown)

3434 is the user level 2 unlock code.

User level 1 allows all the features of the keyboard to be controlled by the user. When the keyboard is unlocked with user level 1 control, ‘U1’ will be displayed on the LCD.

User level 2 allows limited control of the keyboard’s features by the user. When the keyboard is unlocked with user level 2 control, ‘U2’ will be displayed on the LCD.

Use the same key sequences to lock the keyboard (‘lock‘ + 3434 or ‘lock’ + XXXX) where XXXX is the user level 1 password.

If the keyboard is in user level 1 mode, and the ‘lock‘ 3434 key sequence is entered, then the keyboard will be put into user level 2 mode.
