Using the Single-Sign-On Onboard Administrator Web interface

If you have the proper credentials (“SuperUser”, “InsightAdmin”, InsightOperator” or “InsightUser”, you can access the Single-Sign-On function to access the Onboard Administrator Web interface.

1.In the HP Insight Control for RHEV Actions toolbar, click to open the Tools menu.

2.Click Onboard Administrator. A new browser window opens, and you are automatically logged in to the Onboard Administrator.

Accessing the Virtual Connect login page

1.In the HP Insight Control for RHEV Actions toolbar, click to open the Tools menu.

2.Click Virtual Connect. A new browser window opens, and you are directed to the Virtual Connect login page.

NOTE: Virtual Connect does not allow single-sign-on.

Using Online Help

To access the online Help system for HP Insight Control for RHEV:

From the HP Insight Control for RHEV Actions toolbar, click . Click Help. The Help opens in a new browser window.

To view the version of HP Insight Control for RHEV you are running:

1.From the HP Insight Control for RHEV Actions toolbar, click . Click About. The Version dialog box is displayed.

2.Click Close.

Using the Reports icon

To generate ad hoc reports of HP hardware inventory details through RHEV-M’s reporting

infrastructure, click . For more information about HP Insight Control for RHEV’s ad hoc reporting through RHEV-M’s reporting infrastructure, see “Generating reports” (page 30).
