Connecting an AC power cord

1.Make sure the router is correctly grounded, and the power switch on the router is in the OFF position.

2.Connect one end of the AC power cord to the AC receptacle on the router, and the other end to the AC power source.

3.Install the bail latch and push it leftward to secure the power cord.

Verifying the installation

After you complete the installation, verify that:

There is enough space for heat dissipation around the router, and the rack or workbench is stable.

Interface modules are correctly installed.

The router, rack, and power cord are correctly grounded.

The correct power source is used.

Powering on the router

Verifying before power-on

Before powering on the router, verify the following items:

The power modules are correctly installed.

The power cord and grounding cable are correctly connected.

The power source voltage meets the requirement of the router.
