Webcam module

752344-001

 

 

On products that ship with a webcam module, the module is located at the top of the computer beneath the top panel. It is secured with two silver Phillips screws and has one connector.

The webcam module is optional.

To remove the webcam module:

1.Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparing to disassemble the computer on page 18).

2.Remove the rear cover (see Rear cover on page 19).

3.Press the tabs on each side of the webcam module and lift it up away from the tabs.

4.Rotate the assembly to gain access to the connector on the module, and then disconnect the cable from the module.

5.To remove the module from the bracket, remove the two Phillips screws that secure the module, and then separate the module from the bracket.
