How to Hot Unplug / Hot Swap a HDD:

Please follow the instructions below to process Hot Unplug / Hot Swap. Improper procedures will cause the HDD damage and data loss.

Step 1

Unplug the SATA data cable from the HDD’s side.

Step 2

Unplug the SATA 15-pin power cable connector (Black) from the HDD's side.
