CLEANING YOUR EZ–CLEAN GRATE

To clean the grate, pull rod on front of stove back and forth a few times, once or twice per day.

IMPORTANT: Be sure you PUSH the rod in fully for normal operation.

INSERTING, REMOVING & ADJUSTING THE BURN GRATE

The burn grate top, (G), must fit and seal firmly on the upper lips, (H), of the burn box, (A). An improper seal will allow incoming combustion air to escape, not passing up through the burn grate thus reducing the amount of combustion air in the area needed to efficiently burn pellets.

Removal of burn grate top:

Installation is reverse of this.

Grasp the burn grate adjustment tab (F), with a pair of pliers and bend it slightly to left or right (and re-install into burn box) until its length allows the burn grate top to rest tightly onto the burn grate bottom. (Location J)
