WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS
•Open windows/extinguish any open flame.
•Do not try to light any appliance.
•Do not touch any electrical switch or use any phone in your building.
•Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbour’s phone. Follow the gas supplier’s instructions.
•If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire department.

Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapours and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.

Other Massachusetts code requirements: Flexible connector must not be longer than 36in., a shut off valve must be installed; only direct vent sealed combustion products are approved for bedrooms/bathrooms. A carbon monoxide detector is required in all rooms containing gas fired direct vent appliances.
