To install wall shield firestops for horizontal runs that pass

 

through either interior or exterior walls:

 

Cut a 25.4 cm x 25.4 cm hole for SL-D-series pipe. The

 

center of the framing hole is 2.54 cm above the center of

 

the horizontal flue pipe.
