Funcionamiento de la cafetera eléctrica

Para servir: Asegúrese de que la ranura para servir de la tapa de la jarra esté alineada con el pico vertedor, luego, simplemente incline y sirva.

Para retirar la tapa: Gire la tapa en sentido antihorario hasta la posición once en punto aproximadamente y levántela.

Maximizar la temperatura del café Para maximizar la temperatura del café, precaliente la jarra antes de la elaboración retirando la tapa y enjuagando el interior con agua corriente caliente.

Lavar sólo a mano

No lave la jarra en un lavaplatos. Lávela o enjuáguela a mano.

ELABORACIÓN DEL CAFÉ

NOTA: Haga funcionar la cafetera eléctrica con una jarra de agua dulce fría y deséchela antes de preparar la primera jarra de café.

(Sólo la primera vez que se utiliza).

1.Levante la tapa frontal y llene el depósito de agua vertiendo agua dulce fría en el conducto de llenado del depósito que se encuentra a la derecha de la cesta del filtro. Utilice la escala graduada de la

manija del filtro de agua para calcular el agua necesaria para la cantidad deseada de café. La escala es la medida del volumen de agua en tazas de 125,68 ml.

2.Después de llenar el depósito, coloque la jarra en la bandeja de la cafetera eléctrica. Asegúrese de que la tapa esté segura y trabada y que la base de la jarra esté asentada totalmente sobre la bandeja. Si la jarra no está asentada, la función Detener y Servir se puede activar y el café puede desbordar la cesta del filtro.

3.Retire la cesta del filtro de la parte superior de la cafetera eléctrica agarrando el aro que se encuentra en la parte de adelante de la cesta.

4.Inserte un filtro de papel de base plana para 10-12 tazas o el filtro permanente dorado dentro de la cesta del filtro. No utilice ambos tipos de filtros al mismo tiempo. Si utiliza ambos filtros podría hacer que el agua y el café desborden la cesta del filtro.

5.Si utiliza la cuchara incluida, llene el filtro con una cucharada rasa de café molido para cada taza deseada. Utilice una molienda mediana adecuada para cafeteras eléctricas de goteo automático: una molienda demasiado fina hará que el café se torne amargo y puede obstruir el filtro de café.

NOTA: Siempre coloque el filtro y el café dentro de la cesta del filtro desmontable. No haga funcionar la cafetera eléctrica sin la cesta del filtro.
