Before removingthe burner capsand heads remember their sizeand location.Replace them in the same location after cleaning.

NOTE: Do not use steelwoolor scouringpowders to clean the burnerparts.

For proper ignition, make sure the smallhole in the section that fits over the electrodeis kept open.A sewing needleor wire twist-tie works well to unclog it.

The slitsin the burnerheadsmustbe keptclean at all timesfor an even,unhamperedflame.

Cloggedor dirty burnerportsor electrodeswill not allow the burnerto operateproperly.

Any spill on or around an electrode must be carefuly cleaned. Take care to not hit an electrode with anythinghard or it could be damaged.

Clean the burnerheadsroutinely,especialy after bad spillovers, which could clog the openings. Lift off when cool.

To remove burned-on food, soakthe burnerheads in a solution of mild liquiddetergentand hot water for 20–30 minutes. For more stubbornstains,use a toothbrush.

After cleaning

Before putting the burnercaps,headsand oval head/capassembly back,shakeout excesswater and then dry them thoroughlyby settingin a warm ovenfor 30 minutes.

Makesurethe slot(on fromt left, backrightand back leftheads) and the hole(frontrighthead)in the burnerheadis positionedoverthe electrode.
