7. USING THE SENSORS

The glass ceramic hob is controlled by means of the Touch Control sensor buttons. Operating the sensor buttons: lightly touch a symbol on the glass ceramic surface. The buzzer will sound to confirm every effective touch. For simplicity, from now on we will refer to the Touch Control sensor buttons simply as the «button».

On/off button

Use this to turn the hob on and off. In effect, this button is the main switch.

Cooking zone selector button

By activating one of the available selectors you select a cooking zone, the power level of which can then be adjusted using the “” button or the “” button.

Minus button / Plus button

These two buttons enable the power level, automatic switch-off and timer to be adjusted and set. Decrease values using the “” button (minus), increase them using the “” button (plus). The “” and “” buttons can be activated with a single touch or held down (again individually) for a period (to modify the value quickly). The indicated value can be cancelled by pressing both buttons simultaneously.

Power level indicator

This indicator shows the level selected, i.e.:

= the residual heat

= the Power function

= saucepan recognition

= rapid start cooking

= the Stop function

= Child lock

= Plate warmer function (where applicable)

STOP button

The cooking process can be briefly paused using the STOP function.

Timer selector

For programming the automatic switch-off or timer.
