General information

The basic tuner functions can be controlled using t

he

buttons on the F6 system remote control, or directly

 

usingthebuttonsonthemachine’sfrontpanel.

 

Seldomrequiredspecialfunctionsarecontrolledus inga menusystem(seesection 'Special tuner functions').

The PT 820 M features a total of 60 spot station memories (presets). Each preset stores the station’ s frequency together with the tuner settings (WIDE/ NARROW,MONO/STEREO,ATTENUATORetc.)(see section 'PRESET menu').

A station stored in a PRESET can be called up very conveniently using the / buttons, or directly by entering a preset (memory) number using the numeric buttons.

Firstthetunermustbeselectedasthecurrentlis tening sourcebypressingthe buttononthe F6remote controlhandset,orthe buttononthemachine’s frontpanel.

Press the button repeatedly until the message 'TUNER'appearsonthescreen.

Selecting a preset

Thisonlyworksifyouhavealreadystoredthestat ions you wish to use as PRESETS (see section 'PRESET Menu').

Selecting the tuner as listening source

Selectsthe PT 820 M’sintegraltunerasthe current listening source. The screen briefly displaysthemessage 'TUNER'.

Thestandardtunerdisplaythenappears.All remote control commands are now passed ontothetuner.

Ifthesystemisswitchedoff,brieflypressing the button switches it back on automatically.
