Trouble-shooting
Many problems have a simple cause and a corres pondinglysimplesolution.Thefollowingtabledesc ribes afewdifficultiesyoumayencounter,andthemeasu res youneedtotaketoeliminatethem.

Protection
The Protection circuit provides outstandingly effective protectionagainstvirtuallyallformsofoverloadi ng.This itdoesbycomparingtheinputsignalbeforetheou tput stage with the output signal; if there is the sligh test discrepancy,theProtectioncircuitswitchesoffth eequip mentimmediately.
This system protects the loudspeakers very effectiv | ely |
against serious damage caused by clipping or other | |
signaldistortingerrors. |

Thesystemalsoincludesprotectivecircuitswhich | guard |
against shortcircuit and overheating. If a problem | |
occurs, the output signal is switched off and the l | oud |
speakercodeletters( 'A'und 'B')ontheintegralscreen starttoflash.
Ifthisshouldhappen,reducetheamplifier’svolum elevel immediately!
Afterabout20secondstheamplifierwillnormally switch itselfonagain,andthecodeletterswillceasefl ashing.
Iftheamplifierdoesnotcomeonagainafterthis | period, |
theremaybeashortcircuitintheloudspeakercab | les,or |
the amplifier may have become too hot; in this case | it |
should be left switched off for a longer period to | cool |
down. |
