The Basics

presetting audio input sources

Before mixing your audio sources (devices connected to LINE 1, PHONO 1, PHONO 2, LINE 2, LINE 3, LINE 4), you must set their input signal level to each channel input (CH1, CH2, CH3). You do not have to mix every connected input source.

1.To preset the PHONO 1 input source, set PHONO 1/LINE 1 to PHONO 1.

2.Play the selected input source.

3.Adjust the volume on your headphones or receiver to a comfortable listening level.

4.Slowly adjust CH1 until you get a reading of up to 0 on the mixer’s LED meters.

5.Stop playback of the selected input source.

6.Repeat steps 2-5 to preset LINE 1 to CH 1, PHONO 2 and LINE 2 to CH 2, and LINE 3 and LINE 4 to CH 3.

The mixer’s LED meters show total stereo output level. For best results, input signal levels should be set so the meters read 0db or less.
