Volume Amplification

 

Voice path volume adjustment.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

• Rx is a gain level for signals transmitted by FXS

 

 

 

 

• Tx is a gain level for signals received by FXS.

 

 

 

 

Default = 0dB for both parameters. Loudest volume: +6dB Lowest volume: -6dB.

 

 

 

 

User can adjust volume of call on either end using the Rx Gain Level parameter and the Tx

 

 

 

 

Gain Level parameter located on the FXS Port Configuration page.

 

 

 

 

If call volume is too low when using the FXS port, adjust volume using the Rx Gain Level

 

 

 

 

parameter under the FXS Port Configuration page.

 

 

 

 

If voice volume is too low at the other end, user may increase the far end volume using

 

 

 

 

the Tx Gain Level parameter under the FXS Port Configuration page.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Caller ID Scheme

 

Default is Bellcore.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Disable FXS Caller ID

 

Default is No. If set to Yes Caller ID will not be displayed in the analog phone connected

FXS Ring Tone

 

 

 

 

 

This feature allows users to configure different ring tones for audio call/video call

 

 

 

 

for different accounts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SAVING THE CONFIGURATION CHANGES

After the user makes a change to the configuration, press the “Update” button in the Configuration Menu. The web browser will then display a message window to confirm saved changes.

Grandstream recommends reboot or power cycle the IP phone after saving changes.

REBOOTING THE PHONE REMOTELY

Press the “Reboot” button at the bottom of the configuration menu to reboot the phone remotely. The web browser will then display a message window to confirm that reboot is underway. Wait 30 seconds to log in again.
