Top nine problems you can fix on your own:

1. Problem:

Solution #1:

• Display Panel reads

Turn the machine off and on again to reset

2. Problem:

Solution #1:

• Loud noise from blender container

• Container blades do not spin

Solution #2:

• Increased vibration

Check blade assembly for loose, damaged

• Leaking from bottom of container

or knicked components and replace.

 

Solution #3:

 

Tighten retainer nut on the bottom of

 

the container.

 

 

3. Problem:

Solution #1:

• Loud grinding noise from the blender

Due to some faulty motor bearings, your

motor

machine may need to be repaired. Call

 

Vita-Mix Customer Service.

 

 

4. Problem:

Solution #1:

• Machine will not run

Double-check to make sure power cord is

Display screen does not say “READY” firmly in power outlet.

Solution #2:

Check to make sure the ON/OFF switch is in the ON position.

Solution #3:

Turn the ON/OFF switch to OFF, then ON, to reboot the electronics.

 

5. Problem:

Solution #1:

 

• Machine starts then shuts off

Check to make sure there is power to the

 

 

machine.

6. Problem:
