Theanaloginput sensitivity of the Audio+ VideoStandardis set for the standard2 Volts that DolbyLaboratoriesmandatesfor proper Dolby Pro Logic processing. For analog sources (componentsconnected to
andtape) that do n~correspon.dto a stan- dard2 Volt output~pecificationl, it maybe
necessaryto adjustindividual input levels on the Audio+ VideoStandard.
PressMenuto exit the menusystem,select the desired analoginput andreturn to the configure inputs menu.
Highlight SETANALOGINPUTLEVELandpress Enter.Theset input .levels menuwill appear:

-OVERLOAD- LEVEL: 0 DB OK
Beginplaybackof the selectedsourceusing programmaterial with loud passages.Press Enter. TheLEVELdBspecification will begin blinking.
If the sourceunit's outputis greaterthanthe standard2 Volts, OVERLOADwillblink indicat- ing an input signal greater than standard. Usingthe downscroll button, lowerthe level dbsetting until OVERLOADstopsblinking. "
Conversely,if the sourceunit's output.is less thanthe standard2 Volts, it will benecessary to raise the input level sensitivity for proper Doiby surround processing. Using the up
scroll button,raise the level dBsetting until OVERLOADstarts blinking andthenreducethe setting just belowthis threshold.
Whenthe input level hasbeenproperly set, highlight OKandpressEnterto return to the configure inputs menu.Toadjust additional inputs, exit the menusystemby pressing Menu,select the desiredinput, return to the set input levels menuwithin the configure inputs menu,andfollow the sameprocedure as above.
