You can correct the white balance that has been set. This adjustment
will have thesame effect as using acommercially-available color
temperature conversion filter or color compensating filter. Each color
can be corrected to one of nine levels.
This is for advanced users who are familiar with using color temperature
conversion orcolor compensating filters.
Select [WB Shift/BKT].
Under the [¢J=]tab, select [WB Shift/
BKT], then press < __>.
The WB correction/WB bracketing
screen will appear.
Sample setting: A2, G1
Set the white balance correction.
Press the < _,*_>key tomove the ""
mark to the desired position.
B is for blue, A is amber, Mis
magenta, andG is green. Thecolor in
the respective direction will be
corrected.
On the upper right, "Shift" indicates
the direction and correction amount.
Pressing the<DISP.> button will
cancel allthe [WB Shift/BKT]
settings.
Press <8> toexit the setting and
return to the menu.

Duringthe white balance correction, +__ will be displayed inthe
viewfinderand onthe LCD monitor.
Onelevel ofthe blue!amber correction is equivalentto 5 mireds ofa color
temperatureconversion filter. (Mired: Measuring unit indicating the
densityof a color temperature conversion filter.)
