Shooting Function Settings

Function settings particular to Live View shooting are explained here.

While the image is displayed on the LCD monitor in Creative Zone modes, pressing the <[_> button will enable you to set the AF mode, drive mode, white balance, Picture Style, Auto Lighting Optimizer, image-recording quality, and ISO speed. In Basic Zone modes, you can set the AF mode and the settings shown in the table on page 63.

Press the < [] > button.

The functions settable with Quick

Control will appear on the left of the screen.

If the AF mode is < AFt>, the AF point will also be displayed. You can also select the AF point.

Select a function and set it.

Press the <&T> key to select a function.

The selected function and Feature guide (p.47) will appear.

Press the <_> key or turn the <_> dial to change the setting. Pressing <8> will display the respective function's setting screen.

In Creative Zone modes, if [9: Flash button function] is set to [1: ISO speed] in [_" Custom Functions (C.Fn)], you can raise the built-in flash with Quick Control. The ISO speed will be set with the <{> button.
