Inthe movie shooting mode, you cannot take a still photo even if you
press the shutter button completely.
During movie shooting, do not point the lens toward the sun. The sun's
heat can damage the camera's internalcomponents.
Cautions for movie shooting are on pages 150 and 151.
ifnecessary, also read the Live View shooting cautions on pages
136 and 137.
A movie fileis recorded each timeyou shoot a movie.
The image's fieldof view isapprox. 99%.
The ISO speed, shutter speed, and aperture are set automatically.
AE lock ispossible bypressing the <-)(- > button (p.105). To cancel AE
lock during movie shooting, press the < E_ >button.
By holding down the <Av[]> button and turning the <._%> dial, you can
set the exposure compensation.
When you press the shutter button halfway, the exposure setting
displayed at the screen bottom is for your reference.
The sound will be recorded by the camera's built-in monaural
microphone (p.140).
The sound recording level will be adjusted automatically.
With afully-charged Battery Pack LP-E10, the total shooting time will be
as follows: At 23°C/73°F: Approx. 1hr. 50 min., At 0°C/32°F: Approx.
1 hr. 30 rain.
