Shooting in Various Conditions

PTake shots of people in snow (Snow)

zLets you take bright, natural-colored shots of people against snowy backgrounds.

tTake shots of fireworks (Fireworks)

zLets you take shots of fireworks in vivid colors.

In mode, hold the camera firmly while shooting as multiple images

are captured in succession.

In t mode, attach the camera to a tripod to prevent the camera from moving and blurring the image. Additionally, you should set [IS Mode] to [Off] when shooting with a tripod (p. 175).

In mode, the recording pixel setting will be fixed at (1984 x 1488 pixels).

In V, or S mode, images may appear coarse because the ISO speed (p. 88) is increased to match the shooting conditions.

If camera shake is too strong while shooting in mode, the camera may not be able to combine images or you may not obtain the expected result depending on shooting conditions.
