■Enable local SNMP traps and disable the proxying of remote SMT events on

every Switch 2200 in your network. Local traps will be reported to the

management station (which will cover all your Switch 2200s), but SMT

events from systems other than Switch 2200s in your network will not be

reported.

To enable or disable the proxying of remote SMT events:

2Enter disabled or enabled at the prompt.

The proxying of remote SMT traps is disabled or enabled for the system.
