Displaying StationInformation When you display FDDI station information, you receive information about the station, including its configuration, status reporting, and the most pertinent statistics about general station activity and errors.1Enter the following from the top level of the Administration Console:

Field Description
configuration Attachment configuration for the station or concentrator. Values
can be Thru, Isolated, Wrap_A, and Wrap_B.
connectPolicy Bit string representing the connection policies in effect on a
station. How connection policies translate into bits is described in
Table 8-2. This value can be user-defined.
ecmState Current state of the ECM state machine
remoteDisconnect Flag indicating that the station was remotely disconnected from
the network as a result of receiving an fddiSMTAction with the
value of disconnect in a Parameter Management Frame (PMF). A
station requires a Connect Action to rejoin and clear the flag.
stationID Unique identifier for an FDDI station
statusReporting Value indicating whether statusReporting is enabled or disabled for
the station. This attribute controls whether a station generates
Status Report Frames (SRFs) to report events and conditions to
network management stations. This value can be user-defined.
