Detaching the Viewfinder Barrel

The viewfinder barrel can be detached for a direct view of the LCD screen. The barrel must be detached to clean the viewfinder’s LCD screen and internal mirror.

1 While pressing the release knob, rotate the viewfinder barrel in the counterclockwise direction.

To attach the viewfinder barrel

1 Align the alignment mark on the body of the viewfinder with the alignment mark on the viewfinder barrel.

2 Slide the viewfinder barrel into the body, while keeping the alignment marks aligned.

2 Detach the barrel.

3 Rotate the viewfinder barrel in the clockwise direction until the release knob clicks into place.
