Removing the battery
To remove the battery:
1Turn the notebook over so the base is facing up.
2Slide the battery lock to the unlocked position.
3Slide the battery release latch (a), then remove the battery out of the notebook (b).

The battery is highlighted with a yellow circle in the above image.
Follow local regulations for battery disposal.
