Using the RS-232 Management Port

Use the RS-232 management port only when you must manually change the IP address and subnet mask. Also, use the port if you do not remember the administrative IP address you entered on your modem.

1Connect the modem to a PC as shown below.

•9600 baud

•no parity

•8 data bits

•stop bit
