PERFORMING SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
Use this procedure to perform the system maintenance commands listed.
1From the Main menu, select 6. System Maintenance.
2From the System Maintenance menu, select
•1. Force/APS Commands, and then select
1. Commands for Optical Facilities to view and force line protection for the available circuits,
•2. Reset/LED Test Commands to reset the selected D3LX module or verify that its LEDs are working properly,
•4. Loopback Status Commands, and then select 1, High/Low Speed Loopback Status/Commands to view the loopback status or perform loopbacks on the selected D3LX, or
•8. Trouble Isolation (as shown in Figure 18 on page 31), and then select the Group and Slot.
3Use SPACEBAR , ← , → , ↓ , and ↑ to select the group and slot to display, populate each data field according to your requirements, then assign the selections by pressing ENTER .
