Chapter 6 LAN Configuration
6.1 Introduction
The PCA-6186 features the 32-bit 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet network interface. This interface supports bus mastering architecture and auto- negotiation features. Therefore standard twisted-pair cabling with RJ-45 connectors for 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps and 1000 Mbps connections can be used. Extensive driver support for commonly-used network systems is also provided.
