2.4.2 PS/2 keyboard and PS/2 mouse
The PPC-A84/A120 provides two PS/2 connectors that support a PS/2 style keyboard and a PS/2 mouse. In most cases, especially in embed- ded applications, a keyboard is not used. The standard PC/AT BIOS will report an error or failure during power-on self-test (POST) after a reset if the keyboard is not present. The BIOS standard setup menu allows you to select* "All , But Keyboard" under the "Halt On" selection. This allows no-keyboard operation in embedded system applications without the system halting under POST. Note that the mouse port on the PPC-A84/A120 is a PS/2 mouse port.
* Note: "All, But keyboard" is the default setting.
