Thisdisplayremainsuniilthe RECORDbuttonis reloasgd.Thefirsttrackandthe second trackare nowcombinsdin the secondtrack'slocation.Th€firsttrackremainsunchanged. The MERGEbuttonhas no eflectin songmode,or whilea partis playing. NOTE: When two lracks are merged,their MlDl channelassignmenls(see MlDl CHANNEL)are permansntlyassignedto ths data of sach lrack, and th€ new track'sMlOl channelis assignedto UNCHANGED.This way,lracks assignedto dittersntchannelsretainlheir channelindeo6ndencaon lh6 sametrack.

The keypador +/- buttonscan be usedto changslho seloctedtrack'sMlDl channel,and othsrlrdckscan be displayedor changedby sel€clingth€ desiredtrackbutton(onlyone trackis lit al a time). Ths selectionof thochannolcan be 0 (UNCHANGED),or l lhrough 16. A giventrackalwaysretainsits recordedMlDl channElinformation,so lhat if a track containinotesfrommoielhan onechannel,il canbe playedbackas record€d'Inthiscase it is desiredto assignthetracklo UNCHANGED,whichmsansthatit willoutputonlhe same MlDl channelsas are recorded.
