Class I Equipment. This equipment must be earthed. The power plug must be connected to a properly
wired earth grounded socket outlet. An improperly wired socket outlet could place hazardous voltages
on accessible metal parts.

Pluggable Equipment. The socket outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily
accessible.

Air vents must not be blocked and must have free access to the room ambient air for cooling.

Operating Temperature. This product is designed for a maximum ambient temperature of 40° degrees
C.

The attached mounting brackets must be used to securely mount the device on the wall.

Circuit Overloading: Consideration should be given to the connection of the equipment to the supply
circuit and the effect that overloading of circuits might have on overcurrent protection and supply
wiring. Appropriate consideration of equipment nameplate ratings should be used when addressing
this concern.

Mounting of the equipment in the rack should be such that a hazardous condition is not created due
to uneven mechanical loading.

If installed in a closed or multi-unit rack assembly, the operating ambient temperature of the rack
environment may be greater than the room ambient temperature. Therefore, consideration should be
given to installing the equipment in an environment compatible with the manufacturer’s maximum
rated ambient temperature (Tmra).
