Appliance must be secured
to building structure.
Any applian ce that is not furnished with a power supply cord but that includes a set of cast ers must be installed with a teth er. Adeq uate means must be provide d to limit the moveme nt of this applian ce without depen ding on or transmit ting stress to the elec trical conduit . The follo wing requirements apply:
1.Maxi mum height of casters is 6" (152mm).
2.Two of the casters must of be the locking type.
3.Such mobile appliances or appliances on mobile stands must be instal led with the use of a flexible connector secure d to the building structure.
A mou nting con nect or for a rest rainin g devic e is loca ted on the lower back flange of the applian ce chassi s or on an oven sta nd, approx imately 18"
(457mm) from the floor. A flexible connecto r is not supplied by nor is it available from the facto ry.
