Basic Operation

Description of Menu Items

The following describes each of the menu displays, and the items and functions that can be set in these menu displays. For details of how to set these menu items, see “Basic Operation” on page E-47.

◆Image Adjustment (when PC input is selected)

Contrast		Contrast	-100 ~ +100	Adjusts the contrast of the

				projected image.

Blue	0	Brightness	-100 ~ +100	Adjusts the brightness of the

Image mode	Standard / Natural	Red	-100 ~ +100	Adjusts the depth of the color red.
Standard	Return
<Image Adjustment Menu>		Blue	-100 ~ +100	Adjusts the depth of the color blue.
		Sharpness*	1 ~ 5	Adjusts image sharpness. The
				higher the number goes the more
				clear the image becomes. The
				standard is “3.”
		Image mode	Standard/	If you want to display an image
			Natural	that has high contrast and
				sharpness select “Standard”; if
				you want to reproduce colors that
				are close to the original select
				“Natural.”

*Sharpness is especially effective when the images are enlarged and zoomed or if keystone compensation has been done.

		Hue	-100 ~ +100	Adjusts the hue of projected images.
		Image mode	Standard/	If you want to display an image that
			Natural	has high contrast and sharpness
				select “Standard”; if you want to
				reproduce colors that are close to
				the original select “Natural.”
