Troubleshooting

If you think a problem has occurred, check the following items before asking for a repair.

No sound.	• Make sure that the setting in the Volume menu is not set to	E-39

The cabinet produces a cracking	• A sound is produced when the cabinet slightly expands or contracts	-
sound.	due to the changes in the room temperature. This will not affect
	projector performance.
The TEMP LED lights up or blinks.	• Follow the procedures for protection against overheating.	E-52
The LAMP/COVER LED lights red.	• Make sure that the air filter is not disconnected.	E-56

	• Check whether the lamp usage has exceeded 1500 hours.	E-54
The remote controller does not	• Make sure that the battery is not blown or worn.	E-17
