Bluetooth settings

To configure Bluetooth settings:

1.Tap > Bluetooth Settings.

2.Tap one of the tabs at the bottom of the

Settings screen to access and modify various settings.

Accessibility

Allows you to:

Specify a name that identifies your Pocket PC as a Bluetooth device.

Check the Bluetooth Device Address (BDA).

Specify whether to allow all other Bluetooth devices or only paired devices to connect to your Pocket PC.

Specify whether to allow remote devices to detect your device.

General

Allows you to:

Select or create a user profile.

Check the Bluetooth status (ON/OFF).

Turn Bluetooth ON or OFF.

Tap a link to the Bluetooth Manager.

Services

Under Bluetooth Services, you may enable/disable services such as File Transfer, Information Exchange, Serial Port, Personal Network server and Audio Gateway. Tap a service from the list, then choose whether to enable and share the selected service to other devices and whether to require authorization as well as passkey authentication between Bluetooth devices.

File Transfer - allows other Bluetooth devices to have access to files on your Pocket PC and to perform file-related operations such as to get files, delete files, etc. Tap Advanced to set a target directory on your device that remote devices can access.

Information Exchange - allows you to specify a contact to be sent to Bluetooth devices when they request for your business card. Tap Advanced, then tap to choose a contact as your default business card.
