Included on the PCI/USB COM Port Utility Disk is a test program called COMTest. It can be installed on your “Programs” menu for use by inserting the disk and running Setup.
COMTest is a simple 32-bit Windows (Windows 95, 98, or NT) COM port Test program. It is a simple tool that can be used to troubleshoot RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 serial communications. It allows multiple ports, at any address and IRQ, to be opened at any given time. ComTest is available on B&B Electronics Mfg. Co. websites: www.bb-elec.com or www.bb-europe.com.
