Film Detection Threshold
Select the levelat which the film detection and processing is activated. Four levelsexist. Useful for noisy
video content.
Freeze
Freezes the content of this source only.
Color Matrix
Select a Color Matrix suitable forthe material being viewed:
AUTO Automatic adapted toincoming source, depending on measured raster frequency
EBU European Standard (PAL/SECAM)
ANSI American Standard (NTSC)
Video Feed
Two possible choices:
•Video
•S-Video
Select the input type which has to be displayed.
Banner Protect
Banner protect ON or OFF.Is only effective when Filmmode detection is in the ON position.
With banner protect ON, the bottom 1/4 of the lines will not be processed in Filmmode detection. That
avoid scrolling banners or “ticker tapes” causing FILM mode errors.
Color Transient Improvement (CTI)
CTI sharpen the transientbetween two next to each other projected colors. The degree of improvement
can be adjusted with the slider bar.
When on 0, the image is displayed withoutCTI. 7 represents the sharpest CTI.
Luma Transient Improvement (LTI)
LTIaccentuates the transient between two parts of the image with different intensity. The degree of im-
provement can be adjusted with the sliderbar.
When on 0, the image is displayedw ithoutLTI. 7 represents the sharpest LTI.
Field Insert
Field insert can be ON or OFF.
With Field Insert ON, both fields of a interlaced image will be added together toform one de-interlaced
image.
When Field insert is ON, the De-Interlacingmode has no function.
11.6.3 Input Gain Equalizing
Overview
Each gain can be adjusted between 0 and 255 (-3dB and +6dB).
Any value can be entered by
• clicking first in digitbox and entering the desired value or
• slidingthe corresponding slider to the desired value.
